My name is Shelby and I have always had an eye for fashion. My mom taught me how to hand sew and sew on a sewing machine. I am a fashion design major. I love art and fashion so I combined the two. I started fashion design my senior year of high school.
I made a pattern and a garment of a blouse with a v-neck and short sleeves that resemble petals. I used the end of fabric rolls before they go to waster. I used a process called mass customization which uses a person's exact body measurements. This helps the garment fit properly and prevents it from being thrown away due to poor fit.
