Luis Lunar is my birth name but my friends just call me Lunar born in Mexico but raised in Anaheim. A few hobbies and interests I have are sketching portraits, photography, going to Disneyland and K-Pop but I’m not all “normal” I also love some horror stuff like watching movies and going to amusement parks during Halloween. Raised by my parents being the first in my family to get accepted into college and to be expected to have “typical career” such as a doctor but instead I got into fashion in middle school seeing pop culture from music videos to tv shows and even video games. Then I started watching Rupaul’s Drag Race and loved seeing the drag queens outfits walk on the runway. Them not being afraid to step out of the normal box and go all out inspires me not to be afraid to design “costume” garments. Unfortunately not being accepted in my family it can be difficult going through college without any financial help and not being able to buy amazing fabrics and other supplies but at the same time I see this as a positive since it has helped me to learn to adapt and be creative and use what I have. I do use photography and designing as a way of expressing myself since I am an introverted person not being able to make friends easily.
