My name is Kaleigh Herrera and I am a Fashion Design major at Fullerton College. I have been sewing and illustrating designs since very early in my youth. I take heavy interest in the details behind a garment and the construction that goes into complex pieces, as well as the psychology behind fashion and why we make the choices we do.
I used recycled plastic from water bottles as adornments on my garment as to represent technology in sustainability.
The recycled plastic used from water bottles represents an advancement in fashion and technology by expanding the materials that we can use that are around us.
