A contemporary outfit that uses mechanical elements in unconventional ways. Using belts, copper wire, electrical tape, duck tape, and led lights, and recycled or discarded fabric.
My submission would reflect the theme of “Technology in Fashion” by showcasing the attempts to predict the future that pop culture has thought throughout the years in one clash of styles and ideas. An outfit inspired by pop culture’s rendition of science fiction and our constant attempt to improve upon such fantasy. Incorporating untraditional methods of garment construction.
